You should expect support and demand it whenever you can. Be nice but insistant. We get so many questions addressed to us that could be solved by the tech support from the manufacture. Be sure to contact the manufacture and resolve problems while your service agreement is still in effect. If the manufacture gives bad support never buy that product again. It is only through the kindness of manufacture support technicians that many of us get buy. It is not fair to expect of yourself that you become a geekoid hacker to get buy.
