I'm frustrated because I cannot open Outlook Express Version 5.00.2615.200 When I try to open it, the program either freezes or comes up with an error message that says:
OEMIG50.exe file is linked to missing export ADVAP132.DLL:RegOverridePredefKey
I do not know how to fix this. Do I have to download or find a copy of this missing driver? Do I have to completely un-install Windows and re-install it? Any advice on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sara, are you using "Bootvis" on Windows 98 ???
If so, read this :

(scroll down to "BootVis says you're missing a file")

Okay, I finally fixed this!! For anyone who has this problem ... here's what worked for me. First, I did this:
I tried repairing Internet Explorer (which I found out is linked to Outlook Express). Go to "Start" then "Settings" then "Control Panel". Choose "Add/Delete Programs". Find "Internet Explorer" on the list and then highlight it and click "Add/Remove". A screen will pop up with the option to remove or repair. Choose repair. There are easy to follow prompts from there.
This didn't work for me ... it might for you. If that doesn't work for you, then try this:
Open "My Computer", "Program Files" folder, then "Internet Explorer" folder. Find the file called "iesetup" and click on it. Follow the directions from there! If that doesn't work, then go back to the first thing again, but choose to remove rather than repair. Then re-install! Good luck, I hope you can fix yours :)

I also tried Sarah's method of trying to correct this problem, but wasn't successful. I can email from my Documents programme, but can't open any received messages. Anyone come up with any more ideas yet?
Thanks in anticipation.
