I use windows 98 O/S. At start up, I get the
following error message:A required .DLL file PNGU 3263.DLL, was not found.

From what I could find when searching the internet for answers pngu3263.dll is part of RealJukebox. Depending on your installation it should be in C:\Program Files\Real\RealJukebox\pngu3263.dll If you don't use RealJukeBox then go into your preferences and turn RealJukeBox off so that it doesn't try to load on startup. If you use RealJukeBox you might want to download and reinstall it. If the problem persists let us know. Claude

I removed all my RealPlayer/Real etc programs via the Add/Remove option on the Control Panel but am still getting this startup error. What else do I need to do? I don't want any of the Real... applications and presumably I haven't uninstalled them fully? I have Windows 98.

I have the same problem with the pngu3263.dll file. I attempted to remove all Real products from my machine and could not as the remove program said there was some shared files and then quit. Seems that Real in their war with MS has turned themselves into a virus.

Hello This sort of error message at Startup shows that Add/Remove applet didn't remove all the
traces in Windows Registry.
The practical solution is:at Start>Run,type
MSCONFIG,hit OK;open "Startup"tab and look for
a line ending with pngu3263.dll.Uncheck the
near little box and when prompted,restart your

Thanks for your help. I found your assistance regarding a problem (PNGU3263.dll) to be of great assistance. Was directed to Google by a more computer literate buddy - it's 'damn fine'. Looking forward to your assistance in future. Thanks to all the 'computer literate dudes' who help us newbies out.

That dll-file is related to a program you run at start-up. I dont know which program it is related to, but perhaps you can examine it yourself:
go to Start>Run,type
MSCONFIG,hit OK;open "Startup"tab and look for
a line ending with YGXA-2.DLL. The line begins with the name of the program that uses this dll-file. If you dont use the program uncheck the little box. If you do use the program try reinstalling it.Niels (with thankx to Stefan for allowing me to copy-paste some instructions,.. that spares some time :-D)

The file pngu3263.dll is related to the RealPlayer software.
Try reinstalling Realplayer first, if that doesnt help post back.Niels.

To resolve this issue (missing pncrt.dll), uninstall and then reinstall RealPlayer. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Click Start , point to Settings , click Control Panel , and then double-click Add/Remove Programs .
2. On the Windows Setup tab, click Internet Tools , and then click Details .
3. Click to clear the Real Audio Player 4.0 check box, click OK , and then click Apply .
4. On the Windows Setup tab, click Internet Tools , and then click Details .
5. Click to select the Real Audio Player 4.0 check box, click OK , and then click OK .
6. Restart your computer. The above steps have been copied-pasted from:

Now when we first turn on the computer we get a message which reads "required DLL file not found" along with:
REGSVR32
usage:regsvr32[/v][/s] dllname
/u unregister server
/s silent, display no message boxes
/c console output
As soon as we exit off the box with the message, everything seems normal. Any thoughts?

Click on C: drive.
Go to C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\.
Highlight the Messenger folder and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

RealPlayer 4.0: pncrt.dll
Problem: ‘Uninstallation Error’. Could not delete file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\pncrt.dll. This file is being used by another application. Please close all applications that use this file and try uninstallation again.
I also installed RealPlayer 8 Basic. I would like to uninstall RealPlayer 4.0, but now I got this problem. Can someone give me a helping hand? Thanks in advance!!Shy

I am running the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger, and when I send try sending a file, and actually hit send, I get an "error" message. I can still type, and messenger does not freeze, but the box stays up on the screen. I hit the 'details' button, and it said something about the myyahoo.dll Can I redownload this file? Could it be corrupt? Thanks in advance!

YGXA_2.DLL~~~hmm, seems to be an epidemic. I am thinking the yahoo program has a lot to do with the missing DLL file, since so many people have uninstalled Yahoo messenger, then tried to reinstall only to find the DLL file missing. It's also a mystery to me why we can't find a download online to correct the problem.

Newbies please when you post put what I.E. and windows you have. Example
If it is Windows 98 run the System File Checker It will check and find any bad Dlls or files and let you replace them from your instalation disk.
Start > Run > type in Sfc.exe hit OK

Nvqtwk.dll belongs to your nvidia graphic card drivers.
First look for it (nvqtwk.dll) in your pc and if it exists, copy it to the folder that it missing from. It should reside in c:\windows\system for Windows-me or c:\WINNT\system32 for W2k. if you are not sure drop one copy to system & another one to system32 folders.
You can also extract it from you video card cd drivers.
If all fails un-install and reinstall the graphic card programmes and drivers.

YXGA_2.DLL ((This file CAN be found))You will find it on www.dll.com or by typing it in the yahoo search window. Once you find it you will notice it is a zip file and works best with Winzip you can find a trial edition of this at(www.winzip.com)once working extract to (windows\system)then you have it...BUT to all you who have deleted yahoo in the hopes of getting rid of problems then can't get YAHOO back...(MANDY)above was correct if you simply goto desktop\my computer\c:drive\programs\yahoo then highlight messenger and hit the delete button on keypad..then redownload YAHOO with no more interuptions...((GOOD LUCK))

I had exact same porblem with Nvqtwk.dll,this DLL is put in when you tweak your reg i.e. the TWK=tweak anyway you installed your new driver over your older driver that had this reg tweak i.e. 'COOLBIT'. well you need a clean install to do this download detenator destroyer.there is a readme file with this tool.follow this and you should have no further problems.also after this clean install and you want the reistall you reg tweak you can and will not have the error pop up message good luck.

use your windows explorer look for your windows update setup files, in there you will find file
ie6setup.exe reinstall it this should replace your missing xml file. xml is use to read web pages f.y.i xml is newer big better from html
i hope this helps..or redownload ie6 but it should still be in file i suggested above..

The error message is "a required .dll file, xmlparse.dll was not found"...
I found the following instructions for the fix, but it still doesn't work...:
"Go to the Run dialog in the Start menu, then type in Msconfig and press Enter. (at this point, I get the can't find it message)...Click on the Startup tab once it's running, then look through the list of things that start when Windows does. Uncheck any reference to AIM, then restart.
I still have Windows 95 if that makes a difference...

Boy do i have problems !! Tammi (if using Win98) & Barbie: I do not have Win98 pc to test this but in Start > Run type in "sfc" then press enter. You should have your Windows CD handy for the programme to repair any OS faults.
