A keyboard shortcut is a combination of 1, 2, or three keys used to bring about a common action -- such as opening the Windows Explorer.
The shortcuts listed here all use the "Windows Key".
The "Windows Key" is typically found inbetween the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys on the left or right of the spacebar. It will look something like the following:
